I have my Great Grandmothers bulova women's watch,  things i find when i open the back latch is 15 jewel, 6af, serial # 2223955 (I think that is correct) also i was told that the inside is 19 K gold.

that is all i know, i have searched and searched trying to find a matching watch with no luck. please see pictures hoping for some help.

I'm looking for a full set of hands for a Oceanographer V orange dial. Were those specific to Bulova, or could I find something similar from another manufacturer?

Hi could anyone pleae enlighten me about any case manufacturers that Bulova may have used during the 30s and 40s. Did they ever use a company called "Commordore  Case Manufacture Co." This company was formed in New York in 1939 .

This question is less about Bulovas than about this specific community.  I've been lurking here for a few months and thought I would simply ask about the appropriate way to approach the owner of a for-sale watch on this site.  What constitutes good manners here?

So I was wondering if it were possible to remove the dial form an Accutron 218D with day/date, and it still function? I know the 218 and 214 differ greatly in apperance, and I am not looking to make it into a "spaceview". I bought the watch on eBay, and I couldn't see the dial was messed up because I was bidding on my phone, and not my tablet or laptop.

Or.....Does anyone have a gold tone dial for a 218D with day/date they are looking to part with? Any kind of response would be greatly appreciated!!!
