WHY???????????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I've been asked to make an offer on a NOS 10BP movement and want to make a fair offer but have no idea what that would be. The guy also has a 23j 10BPAC movement not sure yet if it's used or not. I would be very grateful to anyone who could give me an idea of what I should offer, thanks in advance

I picked up an AK 10 and A a Bulova A-11 case. Couple of questions.

1. Does the A 11 case have an "O" ring or gasket for the case back?

2. How do I remove the stem/crown from the movement?

3. What crystal does Bulova the A-11 case use?

4 / 5  - does anyone have the "O"ring (if needed) and Crystal for sale??

Thanks  Ken S

WTB - Thermatron replacement battery

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the best forum as the watch was an experimental one for Bulova build in 1980 and sold in the following years .... this forum seems to stop at 1980 ....

Anyway, I have one and would prefer to get an original battery for it rather than convert it to something not quite right.

Does anyone know of a battery for these or if they can be specially made?

The back lists SR 4106 Leclanche as the correct battery.

I have attached photos of the watch and the battery - sorry about the poor focus - it is inside a plastic bag.

Final production date of the 218

I ask this because I thought 1977 was the last production of the 218 movement. There is watch WUS that has a 2182-f with a production stamp of P0 (1980). I'm positive this was a replacement movement because it sits in a 1969 Accutron case with a proper caseback. It has a Bulova service mark of *644. Would a movement have been produced if this was replaced in 1980? Were there others made just not used after 1980? This had me really curious and hopefully someone here can help.

Thanks, Bobby
