I have a Bulova A9 watch that I cannot find any information about. The case serial # is  2581684.  It looks like a 1948 Director but instead of having 3 diamonds it had 3 large red rubies on the 12,3 and 9 o'clock settings and 8 smaller diamonds on the other time settings and no actual numbers on the clock itself.  Also, the wristband part itself is made from what looks to be yellow gold on the outer part and maybe white gold on the inner part of the band.  I cant upload a pic of it because my camera just shows blurs.

Bulova accutron pocket watch

I am trying to find information about my Bulova Accutron pocket watch. I took it to a local jeweler and had the battery replaced, but he wasn't familiar with this watch, so he really couldn't tell me much about it other than that he thinks it was made in the 1960's. I will post a picture, but I am afraid to open the back cover because I don't want to damage it, and there are already tool marks where someone tried. It makes a humming noise, and it intensifies when you place it on a hollow object, resonance from the tuning fork inside I guess.
