Mil-W-3818A
I am in need of a caseback for a Vietnam War issue Bulova Mil-W-3818A. I have the watch but just need the correct caseback. If anyone has a spare and is willing to part with it, I'd appreciate it.

Hello everyone, I've recently acquired a Bulova Accuquartz 226, the forgotten LCD counterpart of the 228 "Big Block" LED watch. From the little (if almost non existent) material I found on the internet, it seems to be quite rare. Mine -miraculously- works but it needs a new LCD panel, as the one on my watch fades to black after a couple of minutes I wear it on the wrist.
I'd be very grateful if anyone of you has the part I'm looking for. :)
Hi,
I have an Accutron 214, model # 203, from 1960. It has the football shape 14k inlays, but also has a cracked crystal.
It seems this this model never had an official Bulova case number, and so the Bulova catalog does not show what crystal it uses.
I measured the crystal as 28.5 mm diameter. I was planning to get a G&S PHD25 "high dome" to try, but I see that there is also an, "extra high dome", available.
Has anyone done this before, or know what the recommend crystal is?
Hi all, I have decided to part with a few of my vintage Accutrons and would like to list them for sale on the forum. Unfortunately, I have not figured out how to do that. Can anyone with experience direct me and provide the steps for doing so? Thanks in advance for the help!
I found a 1946 Bulova that is for sale. It has a round face with a second hand at the bottom. It looks nice but the back is engraved from the giver to the receiver on 12/25/46. Would this affect the value? I really don’t know if it is a good price or not. If it is not breaking any rules could someone let me know a high and low price range? I am not asking for a “value” just don’t want to get “taken”. 🙂 Thank you!
Hello all, and thank you for allowing me to be part of this amazing Bulova resource. I sell vintage watch parts & materials on eBay. I recently acquired a large Bulova parts collection from a retired watchmaker and have been listing away for the last two weeks. Yesterday, I realized some of my sealed old stock parts are degraded and rusted, making them worthless. Now I am in a rush to go through the 100s of parts I've listed and check each for condition.
In 1970 my high school faculty gave me a Bulova watch as top male student. A few years late it was stolen from a college gym locker. If I have Case #, box, and date code, can the model be determined. I do not recall what it looked like, as it has been 50 years since I have seen it. I cannot add this watch to the website as I have no pictures of the watch, or the watch itself.
Hi,
I am looking for a Bulova 6AP movement for a 1929 Gloria please.
Thanks,
Hillary
I just purchased the new Marine Star with the orange dial and would like to purchase a quality silicone band. Bulova said there’s not an option due to the unique pin setup.
Has anyone else tried to do this?
Is it possible to tighten the friction pinion on the 11AO* series movements? It has this oddball setup with a brass washer that sits in the cutout at the top of the friction pinion:
I've tried closing the hole with two round faced stumps but without any success:
