How to know correct replacement crystal code
Hi - n00b here so please forgive if this should be in the "parts" forum. Problem is, I don't know what part I need. I'd like to replace the crystal on a 1957 Gedney (NOS if possible) but I don't know how/where to find the correct part code. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Searching for Gasket G795 for 68 Oceanographer E.
The only piece I can not find to finish building out my Oceanographer case and have a complete watch is the gasket.
If anyone has one or knows where one can be purchased please let me know.
Thanks!
Bulova watch case
Can you all help me identify the watch this case goes to and how to open it so I can build it out.
Fluted bezels
Aside from the Super Seville models, (DayDate and Calendar) and the Oceanographers, what Bulova models have a fluted bezel? Anything with no date?
Coned hairspring repair
Anyone know what to do about a stretched HS resulting in a cone?
I give up trying to load a pic.
I removed a HS from a staked balance wheel. Thinking it was free I picked it up quickly like I would a screw. Once detecting resistance it was too late. The entire spring stretched out was deformed very evenly into a cone or volcano if you will ‘in the flat’. It looks great ‘head on’ looking from the top or bottom with no distortion ‘in the round’.
Bracelet Extra Links - 1969 Bulova Oceanographer
Hi All,
I have a 1969 Bulova Oceanographer. I'm looking for a few (any number actually) extra links for the two tone Bulova bracelet (with yellow center links) in the picture (the one pictured in front, not currently on the watch). I think it is a Baldwin, but really not sure as there are no markings. I've seen some old advertisements of the M9 Oceanographer with this as the OEM bracelet. I also need a couple of 19mm end links, either 2 tone or yellow. The center link measures 6.95mm. Any help, or leads would be greatly appreciated! Thanks - Andy
1930 Bulova Miss America Display Case
Pretty cool pick up you don't see much. 1930 Bulova "Miss America" original display case. I believe it's a thin balsa type wood with some sort of resin paint and of course the green felt.
