Love Actually movie Emma Thompson watch

I was just watching the movie Love Actually. One of my favorites, and found this image from one of the great scenes of the movie.  In the pivotal scene where she received the wrong Christmas present from her husband and comes to the realization he is cheating on her. She goes to the bedroom and cries. And then wipes her face. Clearly seems to be a 1930s Bulova American clipper.

Looking for a Crown

I am working on a 2009 Bulova Chronometer.  It's Case# is C852441.  It needs a new crown (8mm in diameter).  I cannot seem to locate one - according to Bulova, they don't make them anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas about where I might find one - or at least a waterproof crown of similar size?

Thanks!

Looking for Bulova pocket watch case

I've got a nice 17AE 21 jewel movement that needs a new case. Preferably gold tone. 17AE I believe  is a 12s.

Or is someone has a press fit bezel and crystal for a 12s case :) gold tone, that'll work too.

Would consider buying non-working watch if someone has a 17AE with a nice case, can always use parts.

email me [email protected] or respond here.

I haven't seen many packet watch posts.... is any body out there interested in Bulova pocket watches?

Next steps for a running vintage Bulova

My Bulova Aqua Queen, 1965 vintage with movement 7BPC has cleaned up well cosmetically. New crystal, and case looking good. I put it on Watch-O-Scope and it is running about 8 sec/day fast, amplitude 334 degrees and beat error 7.8ms. I think this looks pretty good. Is there anything I can/should do for this? Is cleaning and lube asking for trouble?

Best,

I am new to this forum, therefore, I hope I am using and searching the website correctly.  I inherited a 1926 ladies, 14K white gold filled, watch with sapphire in crown, for which I cannot discern any information.  There is no patent number.  I am hoping that maybe someone more knowledge can enlighten me.  Here's what I do know:

Manufacture year = 1926

Movement model = 6W

Movement code = Triangle

Movement jewels = 15

Movement serial # = 73032

Case serial # =517997

Case shape Rectangle with cut corners
