Go to the information bar and on pull down select vintage ads and put in the year and hit apply. Search the data base and you will find what you seek. It may take a while but just keep changing the date by 1 year until you find it.

Very nice watch Bruce.  Hopefully you'll add it to the watch database.  It's a great example.

Clearly marked this style as Senator "A" in new ad. Why should band make any difference?

bobbee,

As discussed prior on the boards, and between members of the panel, the strap is a factor when naming a variant.

Although all of the ads in the database currently show this Case design as the 'SENATOR' "A" variant they also show and describe a 'luxury expansion bracelet'. It's highly probable this Case (If) Sold on a Leather strap could be named differently, variantwise.

The new mid 1950's Bulova '23' ads show some good examples.

Hope this helps.

Not really. Losing interest in it as it just seems pointless for me to have an opinion,if you just tell me I'm wrong when it is discussed privately what is and isn't. Have fun.
