Several have been seen:
No Caseback seriel number higher than 450.
All dated 1944.

This is one of the rarest military timepieces out there. They were said to be prototypes but the military markings and serial numbers would seem to suggest that they were in fact very limited production. This particular one changed hands on EBay last year for around $1500. If you own it put it away in the safe deposit.

Right you are. The top crown rotates the 60 minute dial and the bottom crown rotates the 12 hour dial.
