Sending your Vintage Bulova though the mail

As a watch restoration service that relies on half my business outside my area I request timepieces be sent via Flat Rate USPS 2-DAY Priority Mail (USA only). Nevertheless clients wish to use cheaper services such as USPS Standard Rate 1st Class.  IMPORTANT: Priority Mail offers free $50.00 insurance and you can insure for anything you want. I you use flat rate services such as a small box they are scanned at each location and tracking numbers are accurate. The most important thing is getting your Bulova Heirloom Watch to the destination for repairs safely. USPS 1st class is perfect for simple letters and items that you can afford to get lost. But never send your high price jewelry using this service. Its just too risky and for a couple of bucks more please use USPS Priority Mail.As the watchmaker I can track myself and be timely as when your watch arrives I will schedule the restoration and service. This is probably the first time anyone has ever even mentioned shipping issues so I hope this helps. Please note, I do not use UPS or FEDEX so I cannot comment on those services and I rarely accept International clients although I have made exceptions.
