Certain Bulova Movements

Submitted by CoronadoRob on May 3, 2021 - 8:55am

Hello,

Can anyone shed light on WHY Bulova uses the Greek "Omega" symbol on certain Bulova movements and WHAT it stands for or means?

Thank you

Does the "Omega" sign have something to do with the "Movement Date Code (MDC)?" And if so can someone elaborate on that and if there is No relationship between the Omega sign and the MDC, then perhaps someone has a response to my Original question(s). Thank you

Click on the Dating Bulovas information link " Date Codes". I think you may be seeing the date code symbol used  for 1930 and 1940 production years
