Hello Sparhawk,  The best way to get the most information on your watch is to add it to be identified.  To do that click Home, then Identify My Watch and add it there.  I believe your watch is a Lady Bulova "N" with a replacement dial and movement.  Your watch appears to a 1940 case that probably was purchased in 1941 and engraved.  The movement is from 1949 and appears to be an Academy Award curtain dial.  You can probably find an inexpensive replacement dial/movement on eBay if you were wanted to restore it back to how it looked originally.  Hope that helps : )

Thank you Kathy, your information is greatly appreciated, still finding my around the site.

Would it be worth restoring?

You are welcome.  If it has any sentimental value I think it is worth getting it back to original.  Otherwise I'm not so sure it would be worth changing it, it looks nice as is.  We call this Non-Conforming if a case and movement are this far apart and not the original dial.

We would love you to add it to the data base.  That way the watch is attach under your member name.  You can do this by clicking Home at the top, then click Identify your watch, then follow the instructions.  Thank you.
