Nice watch. If you want good hands for it I have them and re-lummed as well. PM me for more info.

The price guide has this listed as an "Ambassador" but I don't believe we have a confirmed advert yet.

So I'm tentative "Ambassador".

A dial clean and a new crystal would see this watch clean right up.

The watch has a very nice case black decoration. Have you any idea what is the black? Enamel, or just paint?

Do you know where can I find tonneau crystals for these vintage watches?  Thanks

It will be enamel. There are a number of members that stock crystals, hopefully one of them can help. You'll need to measure the existing crystal if you haven't done so already.

PM Dacca and he can probably help you.

I'm going against the 'price guide' on this one as the Model naming has been shown to be unreliable and several published advertisements of era show the 'AMBASSADOR' as entirely different.

'UNKNOWN'

I think I'm in the same spot Mark. I would only give this one tick as Ambassabor. I just bought the same watch, although not quite as nice I think.

Unknown for now. I really like this one.

Why didn't I look at the date of the watch :-)

Can't be an Ambassador as the typical square model was still current during 1928 and 1929 so this cannot be an Ambassador as stated in the watch price guide.

Unknown for me also at this time.

This is the price guide information I referenced to above, but it would appear to be incorrect, as we have found with a number of watches listed in it.

Looking through the official Bulova adverts for this period the Ambassador maintained its square shape right through 1928 and well into 1929, if not beyond.

The 1928 dates on your watch would certainly suggest that it is another model.

However I found this "Ambassador" here
