Quartz G26A

Hi, I apologize for my English, I'm using the google translator.
I got hold of a Bulova quartz, for women, and I'm looking for information to go back to the model name and the dating.
On the dial it shows only "Bulova" and "quartz" while on the back it shows the writing "BULOVA BASE METAL BEZEL" and the initials "G26A"

On the movement of the watch is written "6 jewels" and "SWISS V8"

does anyone have any information or suggestions?
thank you

The date code of V8 is a much later model (post 1980) so we won't have any information about that particluar movement.

Based on the movement number (ETA 978.002) I think it can be dated from 1983, I have not found information about the end of production date of this movement.

thanks for the directions

Most modern Bulovas have a model number in very tiny print on the dial, usually below the 6 where you would usually find 'Swiss Made' and the like.
