Is this O.K. ?

I want to sell an old book on watch repair from 1947, and want to know if it's alright to advertise on here, because it is not pertinent to Bulova's alone. Can I put it on the site as I would rather my fellow Bully lovers got first dibs.

If there is a section on Bulova, perhaps you can give a summary of the Bulova details- like how many pages are specifically Bulova etc... you have listed this question in watch parts and trade, which is the correct forum.  Folks can respond via Private Message if interested, as this would relate to Bulova IMO.

I would say go ahead and post the item. I think the "Bulova only" stipulation is meant to exclude other brand specific items and info, not general watch related items and info that could be used by a Bulova collector. Would I not be able to advertise a crystal lift or a set of screwdrivers? Non price related questions about the item should be posted in the thread to benefit others. Price negotiations should be handled via pm.

Fine line, but but I'd hate to see the site be used for selling watch materials.

If its Bulova related then I have no problem.

I think Darren is right, if it is used for the upkeep of a vintage Bulova, it can only be good.

Still, I don't want to rock the boat so I won't post it, but there are lots of interesting adverts for tools and the like in the first  40 pages. Anyone interested PM me.
