Bulova Nighthawk, WaterTite.
June 28th, 1940. Winnipeg Free Press.
The "Commander". Very unusual edging to the dial, with the numbers closer to the centre because of that. Not unlike the non-Bulova "Air Commander" in this 1941 ad, but the price difference and lack of the Bulova name anywhere shows the difference.
New ad for the "MEDICO", not quite like the other two we have for it.
Unusual watertight watch, not sure if that is it's name or not, as it does not start with a capital letter as you would expect, and as the Medico does.
1949 ad for the Groom and the Viking.
Excellent advert from Oct. 1946.
Close-up of bottom row.
The "Engineer" looks like a Douglas with a two-tone dial with Roman Numerals and stick hands.
The Milwaukee Journal - Jun 16, 1948
November 1947 ad.

Just found all these Her Excellency adverts from different jewellers all on the same page of the Philadelphia PA Inquirer dated May 7, 1947.
I think that this is a really good indication as to when Bulova formally introduced their His and Her Excellency range, prior to which were given individual names and classified under the general grouping of 'Excllency Group'.
Remember these a8 dverts are all on the same page.
Jerin posted this advert on page one, full page advert, same date.
1942 Bulova Minute Man "J"

St. Louis Post Dispatch, Sun Oct 4, 1942
The Lord Milburn is a mistake on the newspaper. It should be a Benrus Lord Milburn.
I am trying to see about the "Worlds Fair"
Do you think they both might actually be Benrus and someone doing up the mat ads goit it wrong. We certainly have never come across these before.
Really could be mate... I'm cool with dumping them... but thought I'd put them up for propriety's sake anyway... something to discuss.
These two ads from different papers in different states (IN, KY, UT) may throw a wrench in things a little...
