Dear Forum (I’m having trouble adding a photo, it’s my first time here) I can email the picture, but I’m not sure how to add it. ([email protected])
I was given my late “Mimmie’s” (Grandmother) Silver Bulova Watch. I’m trying to solve the mystery of the story behind the watch as everyone who could tell me have passed away. It’s a very beautiful silver, gold filled watch and the hands are a beautiful blue color. I’m afraid to search for the movement markings since I am afraid to break it. The case has at the top “Bulova 10kGold filled. The case serial number begins with “H”. The inscription that was personalized was 12/25/1947. I don’t know if it was bought new in 1947 or if it was given as a gift to my Grandmother from her Mother. I would really like to learn more if I could. It looks like the “Christine A” model but not exactly.
I know I need a picture, but can anyone please help me get started?
