I have 4 in a row. (See photos) All contain 10BC movements. Far left, being the bottom in the photo, no problem, date code O...1944 Lioeutenant. #2... Arnold...date code J9 ??? (See photo) #3... Minuteman, date codes Square, triangle...is it a 45 or a 47 ?? # 4..no problem..date code...47

My main concern is the J9 on the Arnold

Duh...I have the date code chart downloaded and look at it several times every day and I never noticed the J9 in 1949....boy, do I feel stupid now...lol

whats the verdict on the dual date stamp...the latter codeI would presume...the square for 46?...A leftover from the triangle '45 I presume?

Dual date codes are not common but we have seen many over the years. We always date to the newest. Not having any production information from Bulova we have assumed the movements were either re-purposed or just plain leftovers/remainders from previous years production.

That is what I presumed, but I just wanted to be sure

Did Bulova make any watches with an 8AE movement, but no stamp. And, the dial brand says "Bulova Movement". The case is not Bulova, but is "Master"...

Is this a knockoff??
