Little confused with this 1948 Treasurer

Submitted by What Does Your… on October 22, 2019 - 4:07pm

Hey all.

I've had this one in my collection for a while.

Going through my watches and pens debating which to sell and which to keep to cover a personal obligation.

This is a 1948 (serial number 8740132) 14k pink gold filled Treasurer case.  The movement however is a 1947 10BC with 21 jewels and adjusted.

This movement of course has no holes for movement ring screws.  Looking at movement ring I can't see any evidence of marring from screw heads.

The dial is salmon colourd and has gold hands.

So what do I have here--a legitimate example or a Frankenbully?

Will you please select "add a watch" under the home tab and enter your watch into the data base so we can discuss and try to accurately ID it??

Thanks!

Hi Geoff.

Thanks for the suggestion and I've just completed posting.

I didn't know how other members posted their watches for review and research, thank you for the tip.  I really should investigate all the drop down menus here.
