Bulova 23 "W-CO" Marking?

Submitted by Rustyshackelford on June 17, 2014 - 12:47pm

I recently purchased a Bulova 23 and right under the Bulova 23 Jewels on the fact is W-CO.

Anyone know what W-CO signifies?  I have seen dozens of pictures of this watch model and none have this same marking.

Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge, Bulova never put any thing like that on the dial. The watch is from the 23 series and probably has a redial job on it. The case is not familiar to m e as a "23" series case either. We would need to see the movement and the inside and out side of the case back in order to be able to start looking for an ID. You will need to take it to a respectable jewery repairman to remove the case back as they are waterproof and require a special tool to unscrew the back from the case.

Not seen that before.

Maybe a corporate gift thing? Maybe a Bulova visitor giveaway?

Here is your "23" model, the "L" variant.

As can be seen, the dialis a match except for what may be a simple corporate logo.

Don't go taking your watch to bits if you don't want to!

Never seen that W-CO either.  Sure looks like the "23 L" except for W-CO.  Nice watch.

Bulova '23' "L" variant first seen, and only weeks after the ad comes to light.

Sweet.
