1923/24 16j 6PPI calibre movement watch...classic!

I have got a deco 20's-early 30's ladies watch with a 6ppi movement. Same shape and size as the 6p oval but I can find no date stamp anywhere on it.. Date anyone? I think i have found it in the 1923 and 1924 adverts on here but cant see the detail apart from the shape and exploding numerals.

I have a record of a 1924 6PP, but no 6PPI. My guess is that its early 1920s.

Nope 16 jewels are common...not a much as the standard 15 and 17 but during the period of 1922, 23, 24 they were.

I imagine the center wheel arbor isn't jeweled on the dial side? Was this a European phenomenon?  I hadn't heard of 16j watches among the American watchmakers - then again, I haven't looked!
