Thanks for sharing such a great article. Regardless off which 1940s or 50s watch you buy, it always has a story to tell. Finding that story is half the fun.
I you buy a working vintage watch and never wear it or admire it....sell it to someone else who will :-)
I 100% if you can get a nice working watch, wear it often.

Thanks! I couldn't agree more. Watches are more than just the sum of their parts (pardon the bad pun). More than just exquisite examples of design & engineering.There's a story behind each -- be it the brand itself or a particular piece. And yes, they belong on the wrist -- not collecting dust in a dresser drawer or locked away in a safe deposit box.
