Thank you for posting your watch. I am not a expert on Accutrons but I am surprised to see a 214 movement in a 1970 watch as it is clearly marked N0 for 1970 date code.. I thought by the mid 1960's Bulova had moved to the 218 with had a crown at 4 o'clock instead of rear wind.

Jim, the site has Accutron 214's right up to 1977.

I match it to a 1970 Bulova Accutron "412". 10KT GF case with SS back.

Thank you both, I appreciate your time .

This is a 412 and not a 214 with a spiegel watch band, Is there a name for the watch face, the picture does not show the gold glittering face.

Steven - Bulova named this watch model the Accutron 412 according to the catalog entry shown above. The movement inside your watch is referred to as the Accutron 214. 214 movements were unique in that they are back set as opposed to set by an external winding crown like almost all other watches. The second generation of the Accutron movement had a conventional winding crown but it was located at the four o'clock position. The Speidel band on your watch is not original but an aftermarket replacement. I'm not sure what you are referring to about showing a gold glittering face.

Steven - it's difficult to say without actually having  the watch in hand but I suspect it's age discolorization.

1970 Bulova Accutron 412 looks to be a good match.
