Good One, Mark! Wonder which "DUO WINDER, it IS!? I know it's not the "F" or "G" models, as they take a round crystal... And the "H, I K & L" models, take a Square! So it's likely then an A- E?! LOL...Must have been a rather POPULAR RELEASE!?!

Not a clue Scott, the manufacture year is a guess at this point. Case design says 40's, hands say 50's (?) I'm also hoping the visible brassing is limited to the spring bar - will provide crystal dimensions.

found this:

http://www.decowatchshop.com/shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=30

which dates to 1950 - but the hands dont look 1950?

Can't wait for this one to make an appearance, 'estate found' according to the Seller, looks original.

P.S. That's a "3- step" (vertical) terraced look... However it looks mo betta with the plain curves as par, me thinkst?!

Scott,

Yes, I prefer the flush to the bezel look of original Glass, some do not. It's all a matter of personal taste.

The Crystal that you referenced for this watch (CMX 365-10) Calls it a "DARWIND" on the crystal package. Does that mean this model is the DARWIND??

'DARWIN' (D) perhaps Jeff?

 I don't think so...

Not sure, the glass in this Watch is original. Scott had mentioned the GS CMX365-10 as being a 3 step terraced Crystal which looks like what You have.

I don't know as there is not an ad identifying this Case only one for another 1950 Automatic named 'DUO WIND' on which Dou Wind also appears on the Dial.

According to ads from 1952 on these were no longer referred to as 'DUO WIND', what Year is Your Watch?
