Hi, dual date stamped movements are not that uncommon I have several in my Bulova collection. Stay happy with Bulova-the only watch to collect. Cheers

Hi I"m new to the forum and collecting vintage watches and was hoping some one might assist me in identifying the model watch I recently purchased online. The description buy the seller didn't seem to indicate a particular model but rather the type.  If someone could confirm the model type and year of issue that would greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

I just pickep up a watch with the 10AE movement inside. The markings seems to indicate it from 1937, although there's another marking in the form of a "C" right next to it. Also, the movement has 25 jewels, which may be explained by the fact it's equipped with capped jewels. The watch was sold in Canada. That may explain the difference.

Movement is 21 jewels.

C will in fact be an mis-struck circle indicating 1934 and the arrow will mean 1937, suggesting this movement was refurbished by Bulova in 1937.
