Trade or Buy, ladies watches, 1940-60

Submitted by LisaD on March 6, 2021 - 10:35am

Looking for ladies watches produced 1940-1960, with rolled gold cases and bands in very good condition, or just cases and bands on their own, you could keep the mechanisms and or trade some of mine as parts that are not working right now. Crystals are appreciated but not necessary.

Thank you

Lisa

I regularly buy lots of watches and pick up lots of ladies watches while searching for men's watches.   I am happy send you the ladies ones I cannot use.   Please PM me.

Hi Lisa,  I usually install cord bands on my watches so I have several bands that might work for you.  Email me and we can chat.  [email protected] Kathy

Lisa,

Your package is on the way.  I hope you have a good time repurposing them.

Hello Lisa,

I have the same problem. While mainly looking for men's Bulovas for my personal collection I have rescued quite a few ladies watches in various states from basket cases to near mint, from 1924 to more modern ones. Some of the modern ones my girlfriend likes, though sometimes I can't find links to adjust them to fit her. I'm up for trades, selling, or even donations as I often negotiate a price on watches I can wear with ones I think I can save and basically get them for next to nothing. Right now I am looking for a stem, minute hand, and bezel for a 1937 10AE. A minute hand, or set of hands for an N1 Space View. I would also be interested in watch repair as I am fairly new at this and have a fer watches I am not confident enough in my skill level to repair. Some of my watches are posted here, though I have dozens I have yet to post. I'll make a point to get a group picture on here. Let me know of anything specific you may be looking for.

Hello VScott,

I am in the opposite situation where I have several men's Bulova watches in various state of repair, and find I am more interested in the women's good quality items, not really about the watch itself, but the attractive designs of the bezels and bracelets. I am also a vintage American jewelry collector, so it fits in with other categories for me.

I do have a collection of crystals, watch mechanisms that do not work, watch faces of course, all ladies, I have not done much with the men's pieces so far. I have a few nautical or marine type Bulovas with high water resistance, thinking they would be worth something.

You can email me, and we could compare our goods if you want. Thank you for the message.
