Watch Description

Got this one yesterday from another collector who owned it for 5 years. He received it on the Topps Pigskin band with gold plated buckle and keepers as seen. It's possible it's original to the watch.

Smallest diameter monopusher chronograph mechanical movement ever produced by anyone.

Runs and sets perfect. Push button once, center hand chrono starts. Push it again and it stops. Third push and hand does a crisp flyback right to zero (12). Previous owner had it serviced and replaced the crystal.

I have been hunting one of these for a long time and was able to purchase this exceptional example for the price of a marginal non-runner with mechanical chrono related issues. Dial and hands appear original. Casing has very light "tipping" wear on lugs, otherwise clean and literally scratch free.

Another bucket list model for me! 1942 Bulova Stop-Watch - One Button

Both ads are dated 1942.

Point of reference: This watch in today's dollars cost $1,078. plus tax when figuring inflation.

I'm good with the "Stop Watch".... though I likednit better when we had no ad and called it the "One Button Chrono"

Thanks, Geoff, it was a buy it now. I found it a little over 10 minutes after it was listed. Just happened I was in the right place at the right time.

Congratulations!  I also saw that one when it was still for sale.  I thought the price was fair but luckily for you, I'm not interested in chronographs just yet.  The seller had it listed as a Medico but obviously that's not what it is.  Thanks for bringing it into the myBulova family!
