Watch Description

Ok, so this is the first of 2 black dial Bulova's that I have. I'm thinking is in the Sea King family. I'm questioning the caseback as it doesn't say bulova or have a date code on it. Does the caseback look original. Thanks for any help!

As nice as the watch is, I'm afraid it's going to fall into the category of "Non-Conforming". That is how we list watches that  that can't be positively ID'ed as a model due to non-Bulova major parts. The case isn't one used by Bulova in production and is a replacement.

Theodore Kagen conducted business under the name T. K. Co. – manufacturers, designers and imports of watch cases. TK Co.was based at 48 W 48th Street, New York; selling watch cases to watch makers and importers.  They made many cases (and complete case/dial/hands kits) intended to house specific movements. They were often used in the making of "rebuilt" watches where movements from well-known movement makers and watch brands could be cased-up into complete watches.

Wear it and enjoy it.

Yea I figured that caseback was not correct. Thanks for the feedback!
