Found this sleeper on Ebay. It is a full kit 1954 Bulova Stanton I think based on the 1955 line book ad referenced below. Noting it was discontinued in 1955. The outer box is coral with a gold lower box. The case has a purplish pink felt top and has a black felt bottom. Includes the original warranty card filled in and dated 1954. The watch is in pristine NOS condition. It is a yellow gold plated case with a silver dial and applied gold hour markers. The stainless back is marked L4 and has presentation engraving for the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America. The movement is a super clean 17J 10BT movement with an L3 date code. Seems like it might have a broken mainspring as it slips occasioinally when winding. This is my first full kit bulova. Very happy to have it.

I would say it's a Stanton Jim. I don't think the presentation case is original to this watch however. This style is found in the mid to end of the thirties only. It more likely had a dark blue hard plastic clam shell case. Band does appear period if not original,
Which Line / page book did you pick this out of?

Now that makes sense to me as the case did look much older than 1950s and there were two warranty cards that came with this. One was the older 1930's style multicolored one. Even better as I have a blue shell case and would love to marry this case to one of my older watches, What watch do you think came in this case? BTW the line book was the 1955-1957.

Very sharp looking watch. Looks like it wasn't warn much. Great presentation piece.

I had to google Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America
Nice one indeed. I'm inclined to say the same about the the "accoutrements" being mid 1930's. If it was mine, I would drop a nice 1933-35 stepped case Senator or similar in the box for an even more impressive full package.
Love the engraving, that will be a fun one to research. Lodge 622 was/is in Rochester, NY
