Watch Description

This one is a first for me. Movement dated L5, no date stamp on case back. Based on the 1955 ad, it's a Senator Deluxe. At present, there is one watch that was uploaded in 2016 in the database that appears to be mis-identified as a "Deluxe". This one reminds me of a Victorian picture frame and is in excellent running condition with light plating "tipping" on the lugs and missing crown plating cap..

Looks to be a match to the Senator 'C';

Good ad find, Ken. I didn't recall that one. I guess it's a toss-up as to which ad is correct? Perhaps "Deluxe" was a dealer description of the "C"?

I could go either way but will go with the flow.  I think you might be right Bob, it might have been a jeweler or dealer description.

1955 Bulova Senator "C"

I'll agree, it's a "C", that makes more  sense and corresponds with standard variant letter designation.

You do have to admit though, it's pretty "Deluxe"
