My preliminary call would be a Sky King.

I've no idea if this has been restored but it may well have been.  The dial appears to be in particularly nice shape.

Its hard to tell from the picture because I don't have a very steady hand with the camera but the movement date code is a very clear square sheild, not a triangle.

Sky King, with incorrect hands

Yeah, I wondered about that. There are several in the database that have the blue or gold hands rather than the cathedral hands. I hadn't had a chance to see if any of the ads had them. I imagine they're all replaced.

That's a beauty Tom, nice find. We had discussions ad nauseam in the early days regarding whether or not watches without the hash marks on the top and bottom were actually Sky King. A quick check of the dB will be evidence that we agree that they are, as is yours. There were two DIAL variants, one with radium lumed numerals and one with gold markers like yours, both are also correct. It's hard to tell from your photo but I wonder if yours is two tone white yellow.

Here is a white over yellow version from my collection, here is the yellow over white version, both with what I colloquially call the 'dress dial'

1931 Bulova Sky King - very nice

This one is yellow over white but I like the look of that white over yellow version.  That's a beauty.  It must be more rare, as well.  All but a few in the database appear to me to be yellow over white.

Correct hands on the raised number dial. Also came in gold gilt hands.
