I don't know what to tell you Jerin, I just went through my entire database of my ads from 1924 to 1935 and saw a few that were close, but no CIGAR !! It's a beautiful watch, a definite keeper for the private collection, or you can sell it to me ;-0  You know without a I D it can't be worth much....snicker, snicker

Haha... thanks for looking Bob... I figured you'd be my best hope!  I know Jay has some of these older woman's ads.

Oh and you can't really tell from my pictures but just for knowledges sake... the stones in the band are also darker blue sapphireskish as well!

It definately is a fantastic watch... happy to have it and my wife is in love with  it so yeah... it's definately a keeper!  Just wishing we knew what it was!

I'll keep looking, it's bound to show up with the more attention we get.

I've seen a few of them for sale on the Bay recently (big bucks!!!)--some with saphires, like yours, some with emeralds.  But I haven't been able to find an ad for it.  It is quite beautiful and ultra classy.

I have this same watch with a different band (link braclet type). I researched it and I think it's part of the Miss America model. No two are alike from what I can tell. I was not able to see any for sale or any that sold. Does anyone know the value. Should I keep it in a safe??? My face is not tinted but rather looks more silver. Very good condition but does not work. I have the plastic cover over the workings still.

FYI, I left a comment yesterday and I don't know where it went. Did you start a new posting?

I am interested in selling :)

sandie, I think your comment was on the other post. There were two  posts by plainsman one of which wasn't accepting comments etc.
