1965 Accutron Astronaut

I'm not extremely knowledgable about the watch or vintage watches in general. I had to sell my Dad's 1967 Speedmaster for estate purposes, so have been intrigued ever since.  I picked up the attached watch at a local auction.  It was more or less a last minute purchase.  Wanted to get everyones thoughts on authenticity.  It does have a scuff on the crystal and dial(which I didn't notice at the auction...rookie mistake).

Cheers

The scuff can be buffed out, but this does look original. The ends on the second bracelet won't work on this watch, they need to be flat (straight) as is the one that is on it now.

I would agree that it looks original, Reverend Rob knows his stuff : )

Please feel free to add your watch by clicking Home and then click Add a Watch and it will walk you through the process.  Sad you had to sell your dad's watch but nice that you have a new interest out of it.

Looks original. I have a 67 Asronault but missing the gold bezel dial. Let me know if you decide to sell it.

Yes, it is all correct with the broken JB Champion straight sided bullet link bracelet, To give it 100% I'd need to see inside though...

A bracelet with curved ends will work if the ends are short enough...
