This is what appears to be a 1962 Surf King. It is a stainless steel case with a black dial with silver arabic hour markers and hands. The case is monoblock construction and the case back is marked with the M2 date code. The movement is an 11 AF manual wind movement. The watch is missing the outer stem and crown.
Looks like a good match to the Surf King. The white dial would be the 'AW' variant; not finding anything to identify which variant the black dial is; possibly the 'BW' per the 1961 pricelist, which states black dial.
Prior to being the Surf King, these were also the S.V.P. I (white dial) and II (likely black dial). Pricelists show the Surf King as NEW in 1961.

Hello, sorry to hijack your post. I own a 1962 Surf King, same as yours but white dial. I am having trouble trying to access the movement. Could you please tell me how you opened the caseback? Thanks
[/quote]. It is a pressure sensitive monocase. You push down on the crystal to push the movement thru. I use a tool to ensure the crystal is not broken.
