Watch Description

Couldn't find it in the DB  -  The date code is a triangle and a square stamped side by side  -  Sorry I put this one in before I got a chance to clean it up.  Condition is not bad other than the crystal and the balance spring is broken

I guess it is ok to correct myself. lol

Since it has both a 1926 and 1927 date code I might assume it to be the latter 1927 although I didn't see an adverisement for a Saxon model in 1927

Saxon has a completely different shape of the case, rather leaning towards Governor or La Fayette. Has a case on the side of some engraving ?

The serial number of the case is 7-digit 2065257 which was typical of silver cases from the 1920s. The "Bulova Quality" sign has been in use since 1924 and the 1927 patent, predetermines the likely production time of the watch.

Just to correct that these cases are 14K White Gold Filled and not actually Silver.

I'll have to put the number in when I get home. The number I put in was the one on the outside of the back

If it is not engraved I agree with jabs that the La Fayette looks like a match.  Is it possible to get a side shot of the watch to compare with other La Fayettes in the DB?

It does have engraving on both sides

Thanks : ) No engraving on top and the sides match the others in the DB.  I think La Fayette.  I will add this photo and the case serial # for you.
