Watch Description

Looks similar to 1945 Brigadier and 1945 Douglas, but not the same dial and slight difference in the case. The watch band pin holes do not extend through the case to be visible on the outside (like the Brigadier). Movement is seventeen  17  jewels  ,  unadjusted  , swiss  ,  with a mark  MX(?). the MX (?) looks like the MX is followed by a small square with some marking inside. I cannot make out the mark inside the square.

Not sure about the date, but I think I am close.

Thanks  Ken S

Strange that no other members, panel or otherwise, have anything to say about this watch, being as it and others the same have remained unknown for so long.
Perhaps it is because it is so obviously the Envoy, nothing needs saying?

I would call it a Envoy, 17J 14K and the case & dial look like a match...

The illustration in the ad is a bit exaggerated, but I'm leaning towards "Envoy". The dial isn't an exact match, but could be a few reasons for this, besides the artist's lack of accuracy.

Looks close to me. Hands are different, thats all.

So why is this still unknown, with a matching ad for the ENVOY?

I'll throw another option in here.  This could be a 14KT rose gold version of the 1945 Golden Eagle. Note this is a new model year for this name from what I can tell.    See supporting add below for same case but with a different dial.  Possibly ad shows a yellow gold version and this is the rose.  Isn't this dial similar set up similar with other yellow/rose gold models. Unfortunately I found additional ads showing it as 10KT gold filled.  No confirmation of 14kt gold.  Just a thought.

Confirmed the golden eagle came in a 14kt rose gold filled option.   Different crystal and dial.  No solid gold yet.

I am not sure if this one fell thru the cracks or not but the ad above looks to match the subject watch quite well.  I am good with
