Another easy one - 1939 Minute Man "E" just not sure about the yellow tinted crystal. Other than that it's a match in the db and adverts

I saw the design by the lugs. I just got a good look.... it's a reflection from the bracelet, I do believe I have been corrected again lol. Thanks

For 1939 I think this is Ambassador. My question is engraving, do I see it on the sides of the bezel? That might indicate a variant.

I think the Ambassador "D" looks like a match if it indeed does have the engraving.

It does have the engraving but it is worn down and doesn't really "stand out"

We have watches with and without engraving as Ambassadors. It looks like the model changes to Lone Eagle in 1940?

Engraving makes it Ambassador D per the Bulova Annual Report of 1939.

1939 Ambassador 'D' works for me.
