Not sure if we have this advert already but shows the Bulova 'Lord Springfield' model from 1948.

Interesting ad from 1944.  The dial is unusual as the minute track is in 5 min intervals vs the regular military issue that has a 10 minute interval tracker.   The closest dial match appears to be these unknowns but without the shading showing in the ad.  Could be a stock photo of a non-bulova watch but thought it was worth posting just in case.

This looks like a 1941 Watertite but the ad calls it a 1941 Senator.  The fact that is good for Sportsman  probably indicates waterproof.  I wonder if this is the Watertite with applied hour markers and gold hands.  It certainly looks applied markers.    Thoughts?

Would be nice to get a confirmation advert from another source, as some newspapers got these badly wrong. Still you could certainly be onto something as we have struggled finding an advert example with applied numbers instead of lumed.

It is a dead end.  I found the exact ad at several other newspapers where they changed the name to Watertite.

Here is another interesting ad I thought I would throw out there for discussion as it could be a new model name.  It is from 1947 and calls it a Bulova streamliner.  I do notice the S is not capitalized.  There is no Streamliner model currently noted.  I know I have seen this watch but can't put my finger on it and I looked thru the 1940s watches three times.   Thoughts?

As requested these are some of the ads I found in researching this model.  Daily News Dec 15, 1944, Victoria "A" with roman numeral dial.  Daily News Oct 3, 1945, Victoria yellow or pink with cord band.  Muncie Evening Press, Dec 11, 1946, Victoria 17 jewels. I think these ads show the Victoria pretty well, there are a couple in the full advert section in 1946.  I believe this model changed from Victoria with a cord band to Claire with an expansion band with Dec 46 and 47 being the changeover period per the ads available to date.

Dec 1946 Claire in yellow.  1948 Claire in pink.  There are more in the full advert section 46, 47, 48, 49.

I don't recall seeing this one posted previously and early for the name Sea King.  The Lugs are definitely different than on the ad for the Admiral which is not tapered and has a white dial.

Interesting ad showing a subsecond and sweep second military style watch called a "Flying Fortress".   Looks to be the Bulova Stop Watch model.  Not sure this is a legit model name but putting it out there.

The 'Flying Fortress' looks to basically be the 'Stop watch' model with radium dial and hands. That will certainly help us better ID these models.

Based on further review the Flying Fortress has a waterproof case and the lugs are not beveled.  I believe this to be a new model that has not shown up in the database yet.
