I am hoping that you can confirm that this watch is a 1926 Conqueror.

Many Thanks,

Dave

Conqueror undoubtedly, by marking on the movement of 1926, I see there triangle, please check the serial number inside the case should start with 6, sometimes incompletely stamped and can look like 0

26 Conqueror with correct hands. Very nice.

A very nice Conqueror. First digit of the serial number is most likely a partially stamped 6 so please change the serial number.

Hello Dave, welcome to myBulova, this is, arguably one of the most iconic watches Bulova ever made. We will classify this as a 1926 Conqueror as you had hoped. It appears to be in very nice condition, congratulations.

What I find fascinating is that the serial number of this watch case (assuming the first digit really is a '6') falls within what we think is the range of the original 5,000 Bulova Lone Eagle watches. My guess is that this one began it's career as a 1927 Bulova Lone Eagle but suffered a replacement movement at some point.

PS - I did update the s/n in the root record

Many thanks to the Panel Members for identifing my watch.

I was shocked to hear that it falls within the range of the original 5000 Bulova Lone Eagle watches!  I had no idea.  I had been in contact with Stephen and was pretty sure that it was a 1926 Conqueror, but I was very surprised to read your post this morning.   I would be grateful for any additional information that you can tell me about this watch.  I will be posting some more photos soon.

Again,  thank you all very much,

David

Just to clarify it's the movement serial number that needs to fall within the 5000 range (range still to be determined) to qualify. The case serial numbers of 65xxxxx and 66xxxxx are standard for both the 1926/27 Conqueror and 1927 Lone Eagle (5000 edition).

This one has all the marking and parts that make it a 100% Conqueror in my book.

David, can you see if you can add the movement serial number as well. it should be something like 1.xxx.xxx

Now where's that Conqueror box of yours? :-)

Sorry,  I think I missunderstood.

The 10 AP  movement serial number is: 1. 047.139.

I'll get more photos up soon.
