This movement SN is incorrect.

It should be 900301 or 307.

It has been read upside down, as all numbers should ALWAYS be read from the nearest edge of bridge/cock, as below in this expanded and inverted pic of the movement's SN.

Some numbers have meaning upside down and rightside up, however I doubt this SN starts w/ and "L".

Thats one beautiful watch .I do believe it is a Miss America. can I ask , did you just buy that off ebay  ? It looks very much like the one I just lost out on  :-(

George, if you check the date of the first comment block, we started discussing this watch ID back in 2012.  Maybe Janet just sold it, but I'm betting it was another similar watch to which your referring.

Hi George - no I did not just buy it - Its part of my Bulova Ladies Collection and I have had it for several years.    It is a really lovelly watch and I still have it.
