Hi to all,

if someone can tell me something about this movement, i would be more than happy! And if someone can tell me in what case this beautiful pointerdater originaly was, than, well, than i would go outside and embrace the world!

Greetings from Germany

Not seeing this on the Dr's site, however he does list the 17 jewel 10CMC, which is period correct but not your movement. I have no other info.

Hi William,

yes, Roland Ranfft has no records about it. But an other member in our watch forum found in the Pritchard (movement almanach) the „10CBAC” which is opticaly near my movement. But its without pointerdate and day complication.

I am sure my movement was in a gold or gold filled case and someone has make money from the gold and the movement stays alone. The case i bought from the same seller is ok, but its not the original, its more from the 70th or 80th but not from the 50th. Here is a picture:

Just to let you know, my search was not successful, but we managed to put this wonderful

movement into a case (with heavy work on it) to have a beautiful wearable watch again,

Great job finding a case and getting this as a wearable watch.   Well done.

The 10CBACD is traceable back to the 10BOAC movt, and is an all-Bulova design, not based on an outside ebauche. It was produced in their Swiss factory and imported to the US, but it is unknown whether it was imported complete, or, to avoid tariffs, incomplete and further modded in the US. The 10CBAC is the model before this, and lacks the date complication.
