Yep... that's a President.  The dial and case arn't shown in an advert together that we have I don't think.  I'm sure it came like that because both are era and both correct for the President.  Could either be an Unknown variant of the Pres, or someone just chosing that dial with that case right in the jeweler.

I'm leaning towards the latter as the solid 14k was probably a custom order.  But yes... President all the way.

That's a pretty sweet keeper IMO.

I'd have to say that's a re-dial.

President, Variant Unkown. Haven't seen this dial before. Case Serial # would indicate it's from 1943 so I think the movement was replaced with the dial as well.

President with redial

The dial is like the Ambassador of the same time period.

It's not a redial.  This is a legitimate President dial.  This ad is from 1940.

President Unk Variant.

1944 ad.

Correct case and lugs, same as subject.

Dial is dated as late as 1944 by this ad, case is 1943 by serial #, movement is 1948.  My opinion is that it's been pieced together to keep it alive. I'll still go with President,  Nice find on the dial Jerin, and the dial and case match by Bobbee, certainly sheds some new light on whar's going on with this one. Probably just a movement swap
