This is what the panel is about.

I just been looking at google images, found examples of both dial types, with Deep Sea 666 feet, and without. There must be two names for them. This is great!

I do have others but have always been wary about placing them here as I do not own the images. My hope was to purchase these documentd from the owner for publication here on myBulova, but my pockets weren't deep enough :-)

I hope to one day be able to place them as individual items for future identification purposes.

This is exactly the kind of stuff I've always hoped Bulova themselves could provide us, but alas it's down to purchasing from private owners.

Admin....maybe those who want/can pitch in a little $$$ to help with this particular purchase.  I'd love the originals, but I'm happy with access to good scans of the originals posted here on MyBulova.  Many shallow pockets can add up...  Just a thought.

I have just purchase one of these watches and looking for information, so this thread has been great. one thing I notices that I may have missed is that there seems to be one dial with a 24hr scale and one without. both with and without the 24hr scale that I have seen say Deep Sea. Is there a chance that Bulova could have sold the watch as both a Deep Sea, and as an Astronaut? The way I understand on how to use the 24 feature, is you line up your current time, with your time zone reference city. Then all the other city's will line up with there current time, in the 24hr scale. without the 24hr reference, it is harder to determine if a city on the opposite side of the globe is 4am, or 4pm (16:00) with the 24 hr marking on some of the dials, this problem is solved. I found this for sale on eBay indicating Astronaut Mark I

I have the exact same watch, also a graduation gift, with original wooden box. I removed the battery many years ago when they were no longer available locally. Any interested parties, please message me.
