From what I've managed to research, it looks like the speidel band may be the original. It's a 60's era band at the least. I've searched other site and their ads and they have everything except the year 1960. What gives? Are there no ads from the year 1960?

Bulova was really pushing the new Accutron in 1960, and I knows it was a really biug, and expensive, campaign.  Maybe they didn't put out as many ads as normal for all their other watches that particular year?  If that's the case, it could make 1960 ads harder to find than other years.

I even found a list of watch movement identifications and they all have years associated with them except 6BM. It is identified as having 17 jewels, but no year listed.

The 6BM is a derivative of the 6BMC, which traces back over several incarnations to an original Bulova design and manufacture. (6BM>6BMC>6BO>6BL>6BA) These can date back to 1940.

Found this one in the 1960 Linebook BAWD0139.  Case back shows RGP so yellow gold.
