Watch Description

Watch is 6" including wrist band.  Slight water damage indicated by staining.  Model appears to be "Nancy".  Runs and keeps time perfectly.  Thanks to all of the quick input clarifying these details.  I joined principally to add the 4AB movement to your database, as I could not find it through search and thought it might be of value to other site users.

Much older than the 40's. I'm thinking more like 1929 based on the style of the watch and the shield date code on the movement. If it is my eyes and the symbol is the Omega, then the date would be 1930  in a 1931 casr which would not be unusual. The band would have been changed at least once if it was worn alot.

Looks very similar to to the Nancy shown here. http://www.mybulova.com/vintage-bulova-watch-ads?title=193

Thanks for quick response.  Details were updated.  Band actually looks like "Nancy" model in catalog.

Are we seeing an Omega and a shield on the movement?  Omega 1930 more likely than 1940.  Case Serial number suggests 1931 case date.  Square shield would suggest 1931.  Other shield is 1929.

Thanks.  I saw the Omega for 1930 and 1940 and the band looked like 1940 so went conservative on guess.  It does look like the "Nancy" model and band looks exact or real close.

Based on an ebauche by Peseux, the 90, Doc says it was made before '32.

Used by many notable makers, including Blancpain (Rayville) and  LeCoultre-Piaget. I wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up under other luxury brand searches, although I just went through quite a few and found nothing further.
