I have read many reasons why some Accutrons have Bulova on the dial, and some don't...one is only Swiss made Accutrons carry the Bulova name, another is they started to put Bulova on the dial in 1965 starting with the Astronaut, and gradually phasing it to all models by 1970 because sales started to slip after the first 4 or 5 years of introduction (probably Bulova mechanical watches), but most of the ads from 1970 on don't reflect that...So your guess is as good as mine...I think I will e-mail Bulova to see if the can explain it. (fingers crossed)

Will, what is the selection "G" called in the ad ?? I think the name of the watch is Accutron 417 if I read the ad correctly.
