Where is the kitchen sink? Wow, you really are losing the plot! Golden Clipper movements are gold plated, as stated in the ad above. YOU said they are not. What model is the watch with the 11 AOACB, if not a GC?

Convoy from the 1960's, subject from the early 1950's. Nearest match using my eyes and brain is the Sea King. Just an opinion, probably wrong and at least my ego allows me to admit that. You really like quoting yourself.

the 11 AOACB shown is in a 1972 'SPINNAKER' and is also found in the 'OCEANOGRPHER' from the same era, amongst others.

"You really like quoting yourself"

No, I really enjoy quoting in General when trying to emphasise a point as some seem to miss previously noted information.

I may add Your personal "non Watch related" comments aimed in My direction made across the boards are becoming both tiresome and annoying.

EDIT:- The Spinnker and Oceanographer are obviously not Golden Clippers.

Nobody's "in charge".  We vote our opinion.  The votes are tallied, and if a majority of the votes (or a combination of votes which rule out any other votes changing the ID tally), we publish as voted.  It's all good.  Any time I say something, it's my opinion.  Sometimes that opinion may be based on facts to date; other times it may be arguably incorrect.  Sometimes I feel like I'm babbling... To publish a watch ID, it doesn't matter if I admit I'm wrong or not- we tally the votes and the watch gets published as such.  IMO these discussions are fantastic.  They bring up different points of view.

Thank you. In the GC too. And they still don't have gold case backs. Unless you have proof otherwise?

Will,

No mention of 'selfwinding' or 'automatic' in any of the 'SEA KING' ads.

Correct about the mechanics, but they sure do look alike.

Unknown for me, Could be a Sea King A except the subject watch is selfwinding. Could be a Clipper variant as well.
