Just looked at the ad you mentioned. WOW! high price! but very informative with label on watch. Just done internet search, found more for sale at twice the price of the one you mention! Search under- Bulova Excellence Collection- and see!

Looks like it is what you say it is.

egidius,

You said in your original post about this watch that you bought it in a second hand store. Was it used? If so then it can't be "New Old Stock".

DarHin, I think he's just going by the description of the watch in the Ebay advert.

That was my impression too but he should change his listing if it's used.

DarHin and bobbee: you're right! Will change the listing.

What happened to the details that show this watch as a Broadcaster?

Is this the one?

Why is the Watch back to being listed as an 'UNKNOWN'?

I wondered too, Fifth. Have contacted the vendor of the watch on the 'bay, and hope to get some more info regarding it's authenticity  and also about the labels we can't see all of, and any other paperwork he may have. Seen the other Bulova Excellences Goldsmiths' are advertising?

Thanks for the respones, all! Just to clear up: I don't own the Bulova in the box, it is put up for auction on ebay. Mine I bought in a Boston second hand store (no box, no tags). I am still in the dark about the type. I contacted the vendor on ebay (as bobbee did) and he wrote to me that there is no paperwork (at least, not any more) that comes with the box. There is a factory tag, though, which -- according to the vendor -- reads "Broadcaster -B-" on the top line, "13554 Yel" on the middle line, and "17J Brac. $40.00" on the bottom line. But in the end, I have only circumstancial evidence, so that's why I changed to type to "Unknown".
