It is a very nice looking and good running ladies watch, and I hope one day we can determine which one of the 13+ letter codes this one is.

Hey Ticker

There is no doubt this an AC ladies and I think it's the  A or B  designate. I'll have to go look again. An AA for sure though. 3 stars posted.

How does a Watch earn a 3 Star rating  without visual confirmation?

I believe the Watch is an 'AA' but can't be 100% positive, it deserves 3 but all I can give is 2 at this time.

3 stars on being an AA model, confirmed here. Letter designation to be determined.

Does the Watch match the ad?

I just went through all of my '49 - '55 GS & BB catalogs and this is the model designations listed...they must have been pumping out new models every month for the first 2 years, its crazy!

From crystal size, this one is possibly the "B", "H" or "BH" and after looking at the crystal that I installed on this watch, I can see that it does not quite fit the contour of the crystal ring, and it should have a slight curve to the dimensions. I will have to see if I have the 2 part numbers that are listed, I am not sure why we have a discrepancy in measurements between the 2 company's, maybe a misprint or just a wrong listing?? and I am not sure why GS is listing a "BH" & "AJ", those might also be typo's

I agree it's probably an 'AA' Greg, but it doesn't match either of the Models in the ad shown above.

That's the Case and all 21 Jewel Ladies models from this era are advertised as either 'HER EXCELLENCY' or 'ACADEMY AWARD's.

according to the ads in the database.

I believe this is a Vivian with an Academy Award dial/movement.  I would suggest we move this to Non-Conforming or as a Vivian by the case.

Panel members, any disagreement? I think Kathy is right
