Who cares about the Batmobile???? Let's not get off topic,This is a Bulova website! The watch is similar to the Moonbeam or Ruxton , probably takes the same crystal but has some variations to the bezel not yet identified.

Built from a Pontiac, based on the Lincoln concept design.

Who didn't love Batman?

"To the Batmobile Boy wonder"

Is there a Bulova Futura?

Does anyone know if there is a Batman crystal listed in any of the catalogs......sorry Shawn....but I'm ust curious as it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Bulova did something like this.

The "MOONBEAM" still isn't even in the database, to date!?

I had this model and resold it in 2010, apparently w/o IDing it? Could also be one of the Ambassador cases? (Has the arcs!? And looks like a '51 Ruxton slash Ambassador hybrid???)  The Moonbeam takes the quad- gabled  " + sign " crystals... so I suspect that since ONLY the Ruxton and Moon take the SAME glass+ that this is yet another similar sized/shaped bezel opening...

Bulova records were lost in a tragic moving accident, although they have produced information on one 1950's Model We know of.

For the record, Moonbeam take the GS CMT308-30F  22.8 x 22.8 mm quad faceted crystal and the Ruxton takes the GS  CMT308-25  22.8 x 22.6 plain crystal.

I have a Ruxton A in the works but the dial is out for refinishing so there's no picture for now but here's the ad.
