Watch Description

This watch was given to my by my great grandfather. The back of the casing is not an easy pop off therefore I have not been able to take a look at or take a picture of the movement. I doubt it has ever been serviced and it keeps pretty good time. It loses probably less than 10 seconds a day. I have not time tested it that it just my estimate from wearing it for a week. The bracelet is integrated as pictured.

Congrats on getting your Great Grandfathers watch.  This looks to me like the Bulova Classic series.  I could not find an exact match though.

Agreed that it's probably part of the Bulova Classic series as shown here in this advert from 1979

Do you think the exact model could be identified by the movement?

No the movement would not help with a model ID only confirm that it has a 17 jewelled movement.

After 1975-ish Bulova ceased giving proper names to their watches. The best we can hop for is a model number for this beauty. I've looked through most of what we have and can't find anything but the adverts above. 1978 Bulova Unknown

I suspect that we may never find an exact model variant, other than that it came from the Bulova 'Classic' series.
